A HOTEL and pub is celebrating winning not one but two Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards.

The Talardy received the awards for their hotel and restaurant.

Frank Gledhill, who has been general manager at the Talardy for 10 years, said: "We have built up a reputation and we pride ourselves on standards. The awards mean an awful lot to us.

"Business has been very steady. We have returned to the levels pre-Covid."

The Talardy posted on their Facebook page: "So proud of our team for always aiming to offer the best service and standards to our guests and a huge thank you to you [guests and customers ] all for your much valued custom and taking the time to share your Talardy experiences."

For the first time this festive season, The Talardy is running a Christmas market. More details will be unveiled in due course.
