A MAN from Colwyn Bay has been banned from the roads after drug-driving in Abergele.
Volodymyr Novitskyy, 38, of Bryn Garan, was disqualified from driving for 12 months at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on October 3.
On August 21, he had admitted charges of drug-driving, and of possession of a class A and B drug.

The court heard that, on May 21, Novitskyy was driving a Mercedes vehicle on the A548 in Abergele with 400 micrograms of benzoylecgonine (a cocaine metabolite) per litre of blood.
He was also said to have been found in possession of heroin and cannabis in Abergele that day.
As well as the driving ban, Novitskyy was handed costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, a fine of £120, and a £96 surcharge.
The cannabis and heroin seized from him was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
