There will be a takeover of the Rhyl Town Hall square and Piazza, with the Prestige Gaming Van on Friday afternoon until 6pm and Sol Cinema, which seats 10 people at a time and is solar-powered, on Friday and during the weekend.
A full programme for the festival will be revealed next week.
Rhiannon Hughes, festival director, said: “As well as having a full programme of films at Rhyl Town Hall over the four days, we will be screening films around the town for people to watch.
“Our thanks to the businesses who are helping us to screen the 200 films from 29 countries which we have received for our festival competition.”
