A POWER cut hit Rhyl, Denbigh and St Asaph today (October 2).
ScottishPower said it was first made aware of the problem shortly after 11.15am, but resolved the issue by 3pm.
Ysgol Glan Clwyd, in St Asaph, has closed today, meanwhile.

A statement from ScottishPower earlier today read: "There is a power cut affecting the LL16, LL17 and LL18 postcode areas of Denbigh, St Asaph and Rhyl.
"We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 11.18am.
"Our control centre will attempt to restore electricity supply remotely, and we will also send our next available engineers to the area to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible."
