FIREFIGHTERS are dealing with an incident at a property in Rhyl this morning (September 27), which has resulted in a casualt being taken to hospital.
This is on Victoria Road, with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service having received reports of a house fire.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We are still in attendance at an ongoing incident on Victoria Road, Rhyl following reports of a house fire.
"At the height of the incident, two crews from Rhyl, the aerial ladder platform from Rhyl, and a crew from St Asaph attended.
"One crew from Rhyl and an aerial ladder platform appliance from Rhyl are still in attendance.
“We were called to the incident at 4.52am this morning. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
"The road will remain closed to traffic for the next couple of hours."
A Welsh Ambulance Spokesperson added: "We were called at 4.55am to reports of a fire at a property on Victoria Road, Rhyl.
"We sent one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit and two operations managers to the scene.
"One person was taken to hospital."
An INRIX traffic update added at 7.42am: “Slow traffic due to fire services activity on Victoria Road both ways at A525 Vale Road.”
North Wales Police was made aware of the incident but did not attend.
