A FAMILY cut off by the tide had to be rescued.
RNLI Rhyl launched three times between 9pm on Sunday, September 3 and 7am on Monday, September 4.
This morning (September 4) lifesavers raced out to help a family stranded by the incoming tide off Rhyl.
Other callouts involved a broken down boat in Kinmel Bay and an incident in the harbour.
A spokesperson for Rhyl RNLI said: "The first call was at 10pm on Sunday, September 3 to assist a small speedboat on Kinmel Bay shore with engine problems. As the lifeboat arrived, the occupants managed to start their engine, and so the lifeboat and crew escorted them back to Rhyl harbour, the lifeboat returning to station at 11.33pm.
