A MAN from Rhyl who was jailed following convictions of supplying cannabis and money-laundering has been ordered to pay more than £100,000.
David Williams, 45, of Ronaldsway, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment in June 2022 following offences of conspiring to deal cannabis, and both concealing and possessing criminal property.
His son; Morgan Williams, 22, of Hannah House, Dyserth; was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years for the same offences.

At a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing at Mold Crown Court today (August 23), David Williams was ordered to pay a total sum of £116,636.63.
This includes the £16,000 which, prosecutor David Mainstone told the court, was seized from him by officers.
Morgan Williams will pay £4,706.63; the same amount which, Mr Mainstone said, police seized from him.
Defending, Simon Killeen said David Williams will “likely have to sell his home” to repay the approximate outstanding amount of £100,000.
Presiding over the case, Judge Rhys Rowlands ordered the outstanding amounts to be paid within three months.
Otherwise, David and Morgan Williams face periods of 18 and four months in default respectively.
