A MAN who travelled by train to Rhyl from Prestatyn without paying his rail fare has been fined.
Peter Diparno, 41, of Coast Road, Holywell, was accused of not paying the £3.70 fare when he made the journey on Saturday, July 8.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 24.

Diparno was ordered to pay the £3.70 in compensation, as well as a £40 fine.
A surcharge of £16 was also issued to him.
This amounted to a total of £59.70, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from Diparno’s benefits.
