A SCHOOL in Rhyl held a special celebratory morning for its Year Six students ahead of them moving on to high school.
Departing pupils at Ysgol Emmanuel, on Victoria Road, were given a goodie bag and special leavers’ hoodie on their final day at the school.
The school broke up for its summer holidays today (July 19).

Rona Jones, headteacher at Ysgol Emmanuel, said: “We had a lovely morning celebrating our Year Sixes, who are leaving us to go on to high school.
“We wish them all the very best for their future and we will miss them.
“Every child received a goody bag that included a leaver’s hoodie which was paid for by ‘Friends of Ysgol Emmanuel’, our PTA.”
