A MAN from Rhyl has denied perverting the course of justice in connection with an alleged attempted murder in the town.
Liam Babbs, 24, of Marsh Road, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Mold Crown Court this afternoon (July 14).
The court heard that he had been accused of destroying clothing which had been worn by a co-defendant during the incident in question.
Police charged six people following an incident on Crescent Road in the early hours of Sunday, April 9.

Alleged victim Ryan Thomas Tudor-Vincent, 21, was hospitalised following the incident, but was said to be in a stable condition days after.
At a previous plea and trial preparation hearing, held at Caernarfon Crown Court on May 12, Babbs’ five co-defendants entered the following pleas:
- A male, 17 at the time of the offence, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
- Callum Parker, 18, of St David's Square, Rhyl, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
- Paige Roberts, 19, of Y Berthlog, Trelogan, Flintshire, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
- Sharon Roberts, 37, of Y Berthlog, Trelogan, Flintshire, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
- Frederick White, 18, of Sandringham Avenue, Rhyl, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.
On Friday, September 8, a pre-trial cross-examination of the alleged victim will be held.
A trial will then begin at Mold Crown Court on Monday, October 9.
The trial is expected to last no longer than 10 days.
