THE PRESTATYN Carnival is set to return for its centenary celebration on July 22 after not being held for four years.
The Carnival was first held in 1921, but last took place in 2019 after being delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a tradition steeped in history, enjoy the colourful spectacle as it winds its way down Prestatyn High Street and through the town centre to the Carnival field on Bastion Road.

The Stage will see a dinosaur meet-and-greet, the Magic Light Productions Show, Rhyl Silver Band, Wirral Pipes & Drums, as well as BATALA, Clerical Error and the Cambria Band.
The centenary theme for Best Entry at the parade is ‘Its Carnival Time’, and the winner will receive the Mayor’s Cup and £500, with £100 on offer for the runner-up.
