A NATIONAL Piri-Piri chicken franchise hopes to open a store at a retail park in Rhyl next month.
“Pepe’s Piri Piri” will fill the vacant unit 11 at the town’s Marina Quay Shopping Park, with the company aiming to welcome customers from August.
Another as yet unnamed popular takeaway is due to be filling a unit adjacent to that which Pepe’s Piri Piri is taking on.
They will join the likes of B&M, Aldi, and The Range at the site.

A spokesperson for Pepe’s Piri Piri said: “We still have a few important milestones to meet before we can announce an opening date, (but) we are hoping to open some time in August.
“We will be starting the recruitment process soon - anyone interested can send their CVs to rhyl.wellingtonroad@pepesstores.co.uk.
“They can follow our page on Facebook for progress, job opportunities, competitions, special offers, and, of course, our ‘peri-licious’ menu, which will be all announced soon.”
“Pepe’s Piri Piri”, with has more than 150 stores in the UK, had its plans for the Rhyl site approved by Denbighshire County Council last summer.
The restaurant will feature up to 30 seats for diners and will create up to 16 job opportunities.
Contractors Cardon Property & Construction started internal refurbishment works on the two available units in March.
