Among the suggested places are Les and Rita's Fish Bar, and several spots associated with entertainment over the years, including Les Harkers amusements.
Queen's Market, currently undergoing a £12m redevelopment, was also a favourite.
Debbie Bevins said: "Rhyl Little Theatre, the Gaiety Theatre, the original Pavillion Theatre, and the Coliseum Theatre and Little Venice."
Other amusement-related suggestions include the Sky Tower and the old Sun Centre, which many have fond memories of.
Chris Faircliffe said: "The Sun Centre, the old one obviously! Not the new paddling pool one!"
Kerry Southam added: "The old Sun Centre. I'm from Rhyl but live in Cardiff. Meet people weekly that have been to Rhyl Sun Centre."
The clock tower and the Botanical Gardens also made the list, showcasing the town's architectural and natural beauty.
The Royal Alex Hospital, Rhyl Town Hall, Memorial Gardens, Brickfield Pond, and the Lifeboat station were also suggested.

On Sidoli's, Parker Amanda said: "Wow, blast from the past. My mum worked there for a bit and when I visited always got a rum baba cake.
"Lots and lots fond memories."
Several residents reminisced about places that no longer exist, such as Woolworths, a store that held a special place in the hearts of many shoppers.
The old fairground, which provided many thrills and memories, was another landmark mentioned by residents.
Sue Payne said: "The water towers, Coronation Gardens, Clwyd Ices, Sports Cafe, open air swimming baths...all long gone all landmarks once upon a time."
