A PRESTATYN nursery has been named one of the best in Wales, as voted for by parents and carers across the country.

Daisy Chains Prestatyn, on Marine Road, has been voted in the top 20 nurseries in Wales.

The nursery is unique in its approach, following the Reggio-Emilia, which emphasises exploration, discovery and play.

This approach is a student-centred and constructivist self-guided curriculum that uses self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments.

The nursery, which caters for children aged 0-4, said they are ”humbled” to be recognised again, and thanked parents and guardians for holding them in such high esteem.

In a post to social media, the nursery said: “We are extremely pleased and humbled to announce that we have been voted in the top 20 nurseries in Wales again this year.

“Thank you to all the parents/carers who took the time to kindly leave us a review.

“We love to hear what our wonderful families think about our nursery, care, staff and performance.

“The feedback you provide is greatly appreciated and helps us improve the service that we offer.

“As a team, we would like to thank you again for your kind words and helping us achieve the recognition of being a top 20 nursery within Wales.”

Parent Elle Fielding told the Journal: “From a parents’ perspective I feel this should be recognised.

“They are absolutely incredible, the staff, the environment, the learning and the atmosphere is phenomenal - the most well deserved achievement.”
