READERS have shared their favourite places to soak up the sun as a heatwave blessed North Wales.
Although there have been storms aplenty, there have also been some sunny spells for people to enjoy.
With that in mind, we asked readers to tell us their favourite places to enjoy the sun.
From beer gardens to beaches, there are a wide range of locations that have been recommended.
Rhyl beach has proven to be a very popular spot, with several individuals mentioning it as their top place to be during the hot weather.
One person even went as far as saying they would rather be on Rhyl beach than anywhere else in the entire world!
And Phil Harrison said: "My back garden here in sunny Rhyl."
Others have chosen to stay closer to home, with their own back gardens being the ultimate location for relaxation.
One person commented that their garden is their favourite spot due to the privacy it provides, while others mentioned spending time under their pergolas watching birds feed.
For those looking to cool down, a few individuals have recommended visiting the indoor air-conditioned locations such as Aldi or even their own freezer.
One person went as far as saying that their preferred spot is in the coldest part of their home - the bathroom!
Despite the heat, some people have remained committed to their favourite hobbies, with one individual mentioning attending a dog show, while another recommended hitting up the local golf course.
For those looking to indulge in some alcohol, there are many who have recommended visiting beer gardens and local pubs.
Locations such as the Llindir Inn in Henllan and the Jolly Sailor in Prestatyn have been name-dropped as popular destinations.
Woz Evans posted: "Due to my dog wanting to be a trout, we spend some time down by river (the bends) in Cae Ddol, Ruthin."
Trevor Massey said: "Llandudno West Shore."
Interestingly, a few people have recommended staying away from the heat altogether.
Locations such as indoors and even the chemist have been mentioned as preferred spots.
While some have recommended locations beyond Wales, including Skegness and Torquay, many have stayed true to their homeland, with Anglesey, Towyn, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, and Conwy being mentioned multiple times.
Overall, it appears that the sun-loving residents of Wales have a wide range of preferred locations to bask in its rays.
Whether it’s a local beach or one’s own garden, there are many ways to enjoy the heatwave.
