OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses and information following a crash in Prestatyn last month.
Police were called shortly after 10.35pm on May 26 to a report of an incident on Victoria Road West, which involved the driver of silver-coloured Mini and the rider of a pedal-assisted electric bicycle.
Following the crash, the Mini is believed to have travelled a short distance with the bicycle trapped underneath, before the e-bike became dislodged.
The driver of the Mini failed to stop at the scene and drove off in the general direction of Rhyl.

The rider of the e-bike was conveyed to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.
A male has been arrested for a number of offences, including causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
He since been released under investigation while police continue looking into the matter.
PC Huw Capper, of North Wales Police’s Roads Policing Unit, is appealing for witnesses.
He said: “I’m appealing for witnesses and I’m keen to speak to anybody who may have been travelling in the area and who may have dashcam footage to contact us.
“I am especially keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a silver-coloured Mini Cooper with front nearside damage travelling in the Rhyl, St Asaph and Denbigh areas between the times of 10.35-11pm on May 26.”
