A ROAD in Rhyl has been closed partially following a crash this afternoon (June 8), believed to involve a young boy.
This is on West Parade, at the junction of Water Street.
Witnesses have told the Journal that the crash took place on Water Street shortly after 4pm.
One witness believed the casualty to be a young boy and said they could hear “screaming” from the scene, and people coming to help the person involved.
North Wales Police said: "We are in attendance to a report of a road traffic collision on West Parade, Rhyl, which has partially closed the road at the junction of Water Street.
"Traffic is heavy in the area.
"Please avoid the area for the time being and take alternative routes where possible."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called at 4.08pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Water Street, Rhyl."
