The team at a North Wales animal rescue centre is looking for new homes for their furry residents.
North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) have cats, dogs and some smaller animals, all hoping to find their forever home.
The staff and volunteers at the Trelogan-based charity, in Flintshire, know the animals as individuals, and therefore know what kind of home they are more likely to thrive in.
Whether it's a dog, cat, rabbit or horse, staff are on hand to advise on the character and suitability of each.

They also make sure potential new owners are aware of the ongoing costs of a pet, including food and vet bills, which can often be for unexpected treatment.
But thankfully there are plenty of responsible, loving people and families looking to give an animal a loving new home.
And there are always animals of all types, ages and needs that will be the perfect match.
Here we meet just some of those at NCAR looking for a new home...
• For more details, please visit ncar.org.uk or if you would like to support the charity without adopting, you can visit their cafe, open from 10.30am to 3.30pm. They also accept donations at the centre between 10am and 4pm.
You can also help by fundraising, sponsoring a kennel or supporting one of the NCAR charity shops in the region.
• Five-year-old Trixie is a sweet girl signed over to the rescue due to her owner passing away. She can be a little nervous at times, and she doesn't like her collar being grabbed. She is going to need a home where her owners are very much hands off with her until she learns to trust them. Once she comes out of her shell, she loves to chase a ball and can be quite a stubborn at times. She is house trained. She is a little hit and miss with dogs - some she completely ignores and others she will react to. She is going to need a high level of exercise, so needs a home where she will be given this. Poor Trixie has lost everything, her home and her owner, and she really needs a home who can understand her needs and give her the space she requires to trust.
• Ted is a fun three-year-old boy who was transferred to the rescue via another rescue. He is a a gorgeous big dope who has the most amazing ears. He ended up in rescue as he wasn't happy sharing a chicken bone with a two-year-old child in the home, and for this reason, we would be looking for a home for Ted with teenagers who take direction well. He can be a bit aloof to begin with but he loves bolting around the paddock, chasing after toys - he doesn't like to give them back though. Ted is going to need a home where he will get masses of daily exercise and stimulation and he is going to need a home where the direction given by the behaviour team is followed. He has lots of potential and will bring joy to his new family.
• Toby is eight-months-old and came into care due to a change of circumstances. He is definitely a character and can interact very rough at times and does have a tendency to bite. He can also be very friendly, and he is looking for an adult-only home with people that have cat experience. Bengal experience would be a bonus! Toby is a busy, energetic lad and needs a home with a safe outdoor area for him to roam and entertain himself, a rural location would be perfect for him. Toby is the type of cat that will benefit from enrichment and puzzle toys to keep him mentally stimulated.
• Luna is a stunning girl who has come into our care due to a change of circumstances for her owner. She is a lovely girl who is very affectionate and chilled out, she is used to a fairly quiet home with just one person and no children, so she is looking for another quiet home. Luna has always been kept as a house cat, so needs to continue to be kept indoors only in her next home. She is quite a needy girl who loves company and following you around so she is looking for a home with people that won't leave her for long periods of time. She would make a lovely addition to the right home.
• Rio was returned to the rescue after nine years due to separation anxiety, which got so bad he started to try and nip his owners' hands when they tried to grab the door handles. There were young children in the house and so he wasn't getting the attention he needed and it is a problem which started developing after the family had their second child. We feel in a home where he was getting the right amount of exercise and attention, and following the guidance from our behaviour team, Rio would be able to overcome his issues quite quickly. He is fully housetrained and generally ok with other dogs out and about, but we feel he would be best suited to a home on his own. He really is a sweet boy who will make someone a fantastic addition.
• Tessa is about 18-months-old and came into care after being found in someone's shed with two kittens in really bad condition. She is quite a quiet girl here in the cattery but is friendly and likes a fuss, and especially likes her comfy bed and meal times. We have no history on her and feel she would best suit a quiet home and older teenage children only. Tessa is looking for a home with a safe outdoor area to explore once she has fully settled into her new home.
