A PERSON was airlifted to hospital following an incident near Rhuddlan Castle earlier today (June 1).
Representatives of both the Welsh Ambulance Service and the Wales Air Ambulance were in attendance.
The casualty was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in West Derby, Liverpool.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (June 1) shortly before 12pm to reports of an incident near Rhuddlan Castle.
“We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene, where we were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.
“One person was flown to Alder Hey Hospital for further treatment.”
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson added: "I can confirm that Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Rhuddlan area.
"Our Caernarfon-based crew arrived on scene at 12.21pm.
"Our involvement concluded at 1.37pm."
