Access to the existing taxi rank on Rhyl High Street shall be unavailable during the closure of the High street and Wellington Road.

Since disruption to the taxi service is minimal due to the restricted working hours, no additional facilities have been provided and taxis are encouraged to use the existing taxi rank facilities nearby.

Access to residential and business premises, which are located in each of the above locations may be available, although this cannot be guaranteed and therefore some delay and disruption may be experienced.

The alternative diversion route will be signed accordingly.

To minimise disruption to the public and businesses, the majority of the work will be undertaken during the evening and overnight and the roads reopened by 7am at the latest the following morning.

Some additional noise may be noticed during the course of the works, but this will be kept to a minimum to ensure it doesn’t result in too much aggravation.

Councillor Barry Mellor, lead member for environment and transport, said: “Denbighshire County Council apologise for any inconvenience that these works may cause.

“We are grateful for the cooperation and patience of residents and visitors during this time, which allows these essential works to be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
