POLICE are dealing with an “ongoing incident” in Rhyl after a witness said they saw “at least 15” officers attending to a matter in the town.
This is in the Maes Bryn Melyd area of Rhyl, near Bruton Park.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Police are currently dealing with an ongoing incident in the Maes Bryn Melyd area of Rhyl.”
Earlier today (May 22), Mario Jones, a witness, told the Journal: “There are police everywhere... at least 15 of them.
“I'd say there are at least eight police cars, and drones are out. Police are all geared up, and I'm pretty sure they had a battering ram.
“They’re not leaving… they must be searching for whoever it is they want.”
North Wales Police was unable to comment further on the ongoing matter.
