MEMBERS of a car club in Rhyl have organised a fundraiser event to provide financial assistance to the family of a Kinmel Bay motorcyclist killed in a crash last weekend.
Adam Michael Kenyon, 30, sadly died on Saturday (May 13) after an incident on the A470 near Betws-y-Coed.
In his memory, and to show support to his family, the Rhyl-based group Midnight Racers, of which Adam was a member, has arranged a special event at Marina Quay Retail Park.

Tributes to ‘kind, generous’ Kinmel Bay dad, 30, killed in A470 crash
This will be held on Sunday, May 28 at 7pm, with all proceeds going to Adam’s wife, Kayleigh, to help with funeral costs and living expenses.
Chris Bell, who helps run Midnight Racers, said: “I knew Adam very well. He was a friend, and a big ‘petrol-head’. I’d known him for about 10 years.
“I found out the news on Saturday afternoon; obviously, it wasn’t very nice. He was friendly and bubbly; he would do anything for anyone. Nothing was too much trouble for Adam.
“His wife, Kayleigh, is going to be attending the meet. We want to give all of the funds donated from the event to her.”
As well as being husband to Kayleigh, Adam was the son of Kevin and Claire, a brother of three sisters, a grandson, and a father to Tommy.
In a tribute shared earlier this week, his family described Adam as “one of a kind”, and a man who had a “huge passion for cars and bikes”.

Chris added: “There will be lots of cars there; people are coming from Chester, from Caernarfon… Adam was a recovery driver, and his wife has agreed that we can have his old truck there, with his old personalised number plate on it.
“There’s no cost to attend the event; there will just be charity buckets dotted about the site, including by his recovery truck, where people can donate.
“We just want to do what we can to help her. It’s just to raise money for his family, and to help people remember him.”
Police have appealed to anybody who witnessed the crash, or who may have been travelling along the A470 in the vicinity of Betws-y-Coed shortly before 1pm on May 13, and who may have dashcam footage, to contact officers.
Anybody with information is urged to contact North Wales Police via its live webchat, or by calling 101, quoting reference number A071083.
