THE ANNUAL Gwledd Rhuddlan Food Festival will be returning to the town this weekend.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 20, and is being organised by the Town Council, through its events committee, with the assistance of the professional events team.
This year’s event will follow the layout and style of previous ones, and will run from 10am to 4pm.
Parliament Street will be closed for the day to provide a pedestrianised area.

There will be many food and craft stalls located in the Community Centre, the Parliament Street car park and the areas between them.
A variety of musical entertainment will take place, including the popular Wee Bag Band, Muddy Boots and Dyffryn Divas, along with some magic from Proffersor Llusern.
There will also be yoga tasting sessions in one of the rooms in the Community Centre.
Councillor Mike Kermode, chairman of the events committee, said: “The Council’s decision to take on responsibility for running the event was welcomed because it will give long-term continuity and funding for what has turned out to be a great event in the town.
“The food and craft festivals have always been well attended by local residents and visitors and the feedback we have had from everyone has been so positive.”
Admission is £2 per adult, and free of charge for children – so make sure to put the date in your diary.
