A TOTAL of four people have pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of a man in Rhyl.

Police charged six people following an incident on Crescent Road in the early hours of Sunday, April 9.

The alleged victim, Ryan Thomas Tudor-Vincent, 21, was hospitalised following the incident, but was said to be in a stable condition days after.

At a plea and trial preparation hearing held at Caernarfon Crown Court today (May 12), five of the six defendants entered the following pleas:

  • A 17-year-old male from Rhyl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
  • Callum Parker, 18, of St David's Square, Rhyl, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
  • Paige Roberts, 19, of Y Berthlog, Trelogan, Flintshire, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
  • Sharon Roberts, 37, of Y Berthlog, Trelogan, Flintshire, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
  • Frederick White, 18, of Sandringham Avenue, Rhyl, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.

Liam Babbs, 24, of Marsh Road, Rhyl, is yet to enter a plea to his charge of perverting the course of justice.

All of the defendants have been remanded in custody and appeared in court today via videolink.

On Friday, September 8, a pre-trial cross-examination of the victim will be held.

A trial will then begin at Mold Crown Court on Monday, October 9.

The trial is expected to last no longer than 10 days.
