A WOMAN is believed to have started giving birth in her vehicle at the car park at Tir Prince Amusement Park in Towyn on Saturday (April 29).
The Journal was told by witnesses that an air ambulance landed at the scene at about 11am, and an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and police cars also attended.
Witnesses have told the Journal that emergency services attended for two separate incidents – a person who had suffered a heart attack in a nearby caravan, and the woman giving birth in her car.

A witness said: “It was a medical emergency in a caravan opposite (the car park); a heart attack.
“I’m unsure if they went in the air ambulance, as I went off to be respectful.
“The ambulance and (rapid response) car were separate, and were called to a woman giving birth in a car in the car park.”
Another witness added: “As I understand it, someone was ill in Lyons Winkups Holiday Park opposite Tir Prince, which was why the air ambulance landed.
“Another ambulance was in attendance to a lady giving birth in her car; both happened at the same time.
“Whether she actually gave birth (in the car park), I don’t know.”
