A HOLIDAY park in Towyn is hoping to introduce another new attraction for thrill-seekers to enjoy at its site.

An application has been lodged with Conwy County Borough Council for the construction of “The Jump” at Whitehouse Leisure Park.

Guests will climb up the steps of a tower, and choose between two platforms (either 3m or 6m), before leaping off the platform and landing on to the huge airbag that will consume them.

The new attraction would be positioned opposite the high ropes course currently under construction at the park.

Owners SF Parks said it is confident that it will prove “very popular with thrill-seekers”.

A spokesperson for the company said: “This is a further commitment by SF Parks as part of our overall investment plans to increase our on park leisure facilities.”

Planning permission has also been granted to build a new spa, sauna, and gym complex and wine bar at Whitehouse Leisure Park.

The development will also feature an upgrade to the popular Jakes family restaurant and pub, an amusement arcade, a cinema room, and soft play.

These will complement the existing facilities, which include a crazy golf course and food and drinks outlets.
