KINMEL Bay FC recorded an emphatic fifth consecutive win to move nine in the North Wales Coast East Premier Division after defeating Llandyrnog United 7-1.

The Bay welcomed Llandyrnog to Y Morfa on Saturday (April 22) on the back of a 4-1 thumping of Prestatyn in midweek, and kept their winning streak going here in style.

While the top of the table is out of their reach for this season, these consistent performances bode well for the Bay’s future.

Connor Morris, assisted by Liam Jones, notched up the Bay’s first after just three minutes, before Ryan Hulse scored a quickfire double to see the hosts 3-0 up just shy of the half-hour mark.

Just before half-time, Ian Dunn, assisted by Morris, secured the Bay’s fourth goal, but Llandyrnog pulled one back when David Lawson-Cooke scored from the penalty spot on 66 minutes.

Morris sealed his brace on 81 minutes when assisted by Dunn, and Mason Richards made it six shortly after.
