A SIXTH person charged in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Rhyl has appeared in court.

Frederick White, 18, from Rhyl, was charged with perverting the course of justice last week.

The incident in question took place on Crescent Road in the early hours of Sunday, April 9, with residents telling the Journal that it involved a “stabbing”.

On Friday (April 21), he appeared at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court, where he was remanded in custody.

He will appear, alongside the five co-defendants previously charged on April 11, at Mold Crown Court on Friday, May 12.

The defendants have been charged with the following offences:

  • A 17-year-old male from Rhyl has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a bladed article, and perverting the course of justice.
  • Callum John Parker, 18, from Rhyl, has been charged with attempted murder and perverting the course of justice.
  • Paige Louise Roberts, 18, and Sharon Roberts, 37, both from Trelogan, Flintshire have been charged with attempted murder.
  • Liam Babbs, 24, from Rhyl, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
  • Frederick White, 18, from Rhyl, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

On April 11, North Wales Police issued an update stating that the victim was in a stable condition in hospital.
