THERE was magic in the air when a "beautiful" steam locomotive with a carriage attached from the Hogwarts Express passed through Prestatyn.
Train enthusiasts flocked to the station to catch sight of the London Midland and Scottish Railway Jubilee Class 45596 Bahamas.
Callum Headland saw the train and captured photos and videos when it steamed through Prestatyn at 4.40pm as part of its Great Britain Tour on Sunday.
Callum said: "It was followed by a Class 47 train which had been travelling with the locomotive from Bristol but at Chester, due to issues with turning the train, they decoupled the Class 47 and that went on to Holyhead ahead of the locomotive. It dropped its passengers off in Llandudno Junction for their 48 hour stay in North Wales.

"The locomotive then travelled on to Holyhead and arrived at 6.12pm.
"It had a hour layover at Holyhead with some fresh coal ahead of its journey to Crewe Heritage Centre and then left Holyhead at 9pm passing back through Prestatyn at 9.30pm Sunday evening."
The Class 47 also left Holyhead for Carnforth Town at 8pm.
Callum added: "This passed through Prestatyn once again at 8.30pm.
"They returned from Crewe and Carnforth on Tuesday, to collect its passengers and make headway for Edinburgh on the next part of their GB tour.
"It turned out really well with lots of people heading to Prestatyn train station to see this beautiful locomotive and Class 47 to pass through."
Callum added: "The back carriage of the locomotive was from Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter.
"It was a beautiful sight to see going though Prestatyn."
