THE A55 has re-opened near Abergele between two of its junctions after police were in attendance at an “incident” today (April 17).
This ws between junctions 24 and 25, near the village of St George.
North Wales Police said at about 5.05pm: “A55 closed in both directions near St George, between Junctions 24-25.
“Officers are at the scene dealing with an incident; expect delays.”
Traffic Wales added: “There is heavy congestion in both directions between Junction 24 (Abergele) and Junction 26 (St Asaph) due to a police incident.”
At 6.20pm, police updated: "Road is now open - A55, in both directions, near St George, between Junction 24-25."
