A PERSON was airlifted to hospital after an air ambulance and a couple of ambulances were seen in Rhyl earlier this afternoon (April 11).
This was in the car park at Rhyl Rugby Club, on Tynewydd Rd.
An eyewitness said that they saw paramedics “moving the person to the air ambulance” and that the casualty “looked like an older man”.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called shortly before 2.20pm to an accident at a residential address on Maes y Don Drive in Rhyl.
"We deployed two emergency ambulances, and were supported by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service and Wales Air Ambulance.
"One patient was conveyed by air to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment."
Attempts have been made to contact North Wales Police and Wales Air Ambulance for further comment.
