A NEW secure dog adventure park is to open in Rhuddlan later this week.

“Paw Park”, on Abergele Road, will welcome dog owners and their furry friends from Friday (April 7).

The park will be situated across 400 metres of agricultural land belonging to the grandfather of park owner, Ashlea Rowlands, from which Rhuddlan Castle can be seen.

Dog owners will be able to hire out the park privately for either 30-minute or one-hour slots, while the site is to be open seven days a week.

Its opening hours will be from 6am until 9pm, with one-hour sessions costing between £11 and £21 depending on the number of dogs (maximum is eight).

The park, located just off the Abergele Straights,  aims to provide an ideal space for dogs who are insecure or unhappy in the company of other dogs to enjoy themselves.

Paw Park’s field has 6ft-high secure fencing, agility equipment, and onsite parking with a coded gate entry.

There is also a sheltered area and a bench for people to enjoy while their dogs play
