RHYL was referenced in the latest episode of a new drama series which has quickly become a big hit.
BBC's Beyond Paradise is a spin-off of Death in Paradise and stars Kris Marshall as DI Humphrey Goodman.
In Friday's episode, Humphrey and the team faced one of their strangest cases yet when a dead man was found in the centre of a crop circle.
Investigations revealed the man, "David Jones, travelled from Rhyl in North Wales".
The "local police in Wales" was also referenced.
A description into the episode said: "Conspiracy theorists suggest aliens are to blame, which seems possible when footage emerges of mysterious lights hovering above the field, but pragmatist Esther is sure that the answer lies closer to home. Brother and sister Andrew and Cassie Parker own North Farm, where the body was found. Do they know more than they’re letting on?
"When the investigation leads the team to the site of an illegal rave, they're reunited with a familiar face who just might be the key to cracking the case wide open."
Although the show is fiction, it is not long since the Journal reported that residents saw unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the night sky on successive evenings in nearby Prestatyn.

William Morley, and his daughter Kimberley, both spotted them above their home at the top of the town’s High Street at roughly 11pm on both February 11 and 12.
They described how they were flashing brightly, changing colours, and appeared to have come from the Irish Sea.
Beyond Paradise is set in the fictional town of Shipton Abbott, near the picturesque Devon coast.
The next episode is on Friday at 8pm.
