AN APPLICATION to open a dog grooming salon in Rhyl has been approved.
This will be based at 164 Rhuddlan Road, which was formerly occupied by PHR Plumbing and Heating Renewables.
The applicant, Chloe Pearson, opened “Lottie’s Lodge” dog grooming and pet services in May 2017, which is currently based in the town on Pendyffryn Road.
Denbighshire County Council granted Ms Pearson planning permission on Monday (March 20).

“Lottie’s Lodge” offers a fully personalised dog grooming service, working on an appointment-only basis.
Chloe, a City & Guilds Level 3 qualified dog groomer with a degree in animal studies degree and multiple years’ veterinary nursing experience, plans to relocate and expand her business at Rhuddlan Road.
According to the application, the salon will be open from 9am – 5.30pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9am – 3pm on Saturdays.
No objections were raised to the plans by Rhyl Town Council.
