A MOTHER and daughter in Rhyl are to realise a long-held ambition when they open a salon in the town together next month.

Samara Bowyer, 23, and mum Sammy, 46, will welcome customers to “So Beautilicious”, at 4 Water Street, on Monday, April 3.

Prior to that, a grand opening celebration will be held at the hair and beauty salon on Saturday, April 1, with people of all ages welcome to attend between 12-8pm.

There will be goodie bags for the first 10 people in attendance and discounts for the first 20, as well as special visits from Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

“It’s always been my and mum’s dream,” Samara said.

“I’m fully qualified in beauty, and our certificates will be on the wall in the salon to show that my mum is also qualified, and is going to train, in beauty.”

The salon will also operate as a “rent a chair” base, with hair treatments priced at £60 a week, and beauty services at £50.

It will be open during the following times:

  • Mondays: 8am – 5pm (appointments 5-8pm)
  • Tuesdays: 9am – 5pm (appointments 5-8pm)
  • Wednesdays: Closed
  • Thursdays: 12-5pm (appointments 5-8pm)
  • Fridays: 9am – 5pm (appointments 5-8pm)
  • Saturdays: 10am – 2pm (appointments 5-8pm)
  • Sundays: Closed
