WORK is underway to build a new “high ropes” course for children and adults at a holiday park in Abergele.
The new course, at Whitehouse Leisure Park, on Towyn Road, will have 11 different elements for people to challenge themselves on.
It is hoped that it will open to residents of the park in May or June of this year.

Work constructing the course began yesterday (March 13).
A planning permission for the rope course was made last year to Conwy County Borough Council by applicant Jonathon Seldon, of SF Parks.
As well as the high ropes course, also included in the application were plans for a spa, outside bar, bowling alley, and rooftop bar at the park.
The rope course will create four jobs at the caravan park.
