A DOG was rescued after it fell down an old mine shaft in Dyserth on Wednesday night (March 8).
“Mori”, a Spanish Hound, was hoisted out just before midnight.
Despite the adverse weather, 13 members of North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation attended after a report was made.
North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation added: “Significant work was required to render the top of the shaft safe before one of our team members was able to descend and locate the dog.
“Remarkably, she appeared to be unscathed by her fall of more than 20m and was eager to get back to her owner.”
