THE tenants of a pub in Rhyl are to move on from the site after confirming that their lease is to end.
The Blue Moon, on Vale Road, will change hands from April 1.
Its owners said they made the “difficult” decision with a “heavy heart”, and do not know who will assume responsibility for the pub following their departure.

A post on the pub’s Facebook page read: “It’s with a heavy heart we tell you that we are relinquishing our lease and will not be running The Blue Moon from April 1.
“We have made this difficult decision solely for the betterment of our family and we hope you understand our plight.
“We are unsure as to the continued operation of the venue following our departure.

“We wish the landlords luck in their endeavours and hope they appreciate your custom as much as we have.
“We sincerely appreciate and thank everyone who have supported us during our time at The Blue Moon and hope to see you in the coming weeks before our departure.”
Last month, police were called to the pub after reports of a wounding at the premises.
A man was taken to hospital following the incident, which was on February 17.
