A POSTBOX topper with an important message went on display earlier this month.

Rhyl yarn bomber Rachel Williamson, who began brightening up post boxes at the start of lockdown during the Covic-19 pandemic, created a Breast Cancer Awareness topper to encourage women to check themselves for lumps and bumps and any other changes.

The creation on the prom, opposite the Sun Verge, features the wording 'feel, find, mind.'

Rachel, who is helped by her twin sister Ruth, said: "I was asked by Emma Birchall, who has a Facebook group called FeelFindMind, if I would make it [the topper] to raise awareness about breast cancer. I was happy to help because cancer is a terrible disease.

Rachel captioned a photo of the design on Facebook with the serious message "check your boobs folks".

Asked what she is working on next, Rachel teased: "Well... the coronation of the King is fast approaching."
