A FLOOD alert has been put in place for the north Wales coast today (Wednesday, February 22).
Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has issued the warning which stretches from the east coast of Anglesey to the Dee estuary.
People are being urged to 'be careful' if heading out towards the coastal areas.
NRW are warning that flooding of roads and low-lying land is 'expected'.
The NRW warning read: "At Liverpool, a flood alert is now in force for the high tide at 12.30PM on Wednesday 22nd February 2023.
"Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected. We will continue to monitor the situation. Be careful on beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths, roads, low lying land and estuaries.
"Be careful as sea spray and waves could be dangerous and could contain debris.
"You can monitor the situation in your area by using our 'River Levels, Rainfall and Sea Data' on our website. For more information on our Flood Alerts and how we issue them, please visit the ‘How we forecast floods, issue warnings and assess flood risk’ page on our website."
