AN EXCITING new virtual reality (VR) attraction is to open at an amusement park arcade in Towyn.
A total of five VR games, including three team-based and two “player vs player” will be available when it launches at Knightly’s Amusements arcade on March 5.
The arcade is part of Knightly’s Fun Park, located on Sandbank Road.
The team games, available for up to six people at once to play, include fighting off waves of zombies and an army attempting to destroy your castle.

The player vs player games include VR laser tag.
Open to anyone aged seven or older, no experience of VR games is required.
A closed-door launch event will take place with families and sponsors on Saturday, February 25.

Jacob Knightly, who runs the arcade, said: “It's perfect for ages 7+, so families are encouraged.
“It’s completely free-roam, which means no wires, or heavy battery packs; just a headset inside a 6x6m arena.
“It’s very easy to pick up and play, even if you have never played a game before.
“We’re always looking for the next big thing. We’ve had VR rollercoaster and car games for the last two years and they’ve been very popular, and we feel this is the next step in family entertainment.”
