A MAN from Rhuddlan was banned from the roads after admitting to drug-driving in Rhyl.
Joshua Lally, 27, of Clwyd Avenue, was accused of driving a Vauxhall vehicle on the A525 with 4.1 micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana).
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on February 6.
Lally was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
The court ordered him to pay a £300 fine, costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £120 surcharge.
This totalled £505, to be paid in monthly, £100 instalments from February 23.
