IF YOU left your Valentine's Day shopping for that special someone to the last minute, it's not quite too late to salvage things.
Some florists across Denbighshire, Conwy, Anglesey and Gwynedd are still stocking red roses for any late purchases, though inevitably, not all are.
Here are three which are, and two which have sold out:
Florists with red roses still in stock
- Dorothy's Florist, 3-5 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay (01492 535839).
A spokesperson for the florist said: "We've not got that many red roses left; we've got a couple of 12s left, and plenty of mixed.
"We're still doing deliveries for last-minute (purchases). It (business) has been fantastic."
- Daisy Chain, 5A High Street, Conwy (01492 582613).
A spokesperson for Daisy Chain: "We're having a fantastic Valentine's!
"I think, because we have been told we are not in a recession people have been spending, which has been fantastic for us florists who have to compete with the likes of Tesco, Lidl and Aldi. I'm very pleased it's gone well.
"I have another delivery of flowers at around 1pm."
- Ana’s Florist, 7 Craig-Y-Don, Pensarn, Abergele (07919 006224).
Florists sold out of red roses
- John Stephen Florist, 138 Vale Road, Rhyl.
- Scent with Love, 16 Queens Road, Llandudno.
The Journal/Pioneer/Chronicle has contacted a number of other of other florists across the three counties and will update as and when replies are received.
