THE three teenagers arrested at a Rhyl hotel last week who were later charged with the murder of a man in the West Midlands have appeared in court today (February 7).
The boys, two aged 16 and the other 15 years old, were arrested at Premier Inn, West Parade on the evening of Tuesday, January 31.
Police, including some armed officers, were present at the hotel in Rhyl from about 9.45pm.
On Friday night (February 3), they were charged with the murder of Bailey Atkinson, 20, who was stabbed on High Street, Walsall in the early hours of January 28.

Today, the boys appeared via videolink at Wolverhampton Crown Court, where a plea and trial preparation hearing date was set for Thursday, March 30.
The court was told that much of the incident in question was caught on closed-circuit television (CCTV), including the torching of vehicles, and nine males fleeing the scene.
Atkinson was attacked near the town's Asda supermarket, and later died of his injuries in hospital.
A post-mortem found that Atkinson, from Bloxwich, had died of multiple stab wounds.
The boys have been remanded to youth detention accommodation.
The trial is estimated to last roughly eight weeks.
