A LAW firm in Rhyl has successfully secured millions of pounds in damages during the last 12 months for clients involved in personal injury and clinical negligence claims.

The specialist team at Gamlins Law has recovered more than £4million in damages, along with more than £500,000 for clients in interim payments.

It has also been successful in securing many care and rehabilitation packages and having homes adapted for clients across the UK.

The successes in 2022 follow the recruitment of experienced personal injury and clinical negligence lawyers Simon Roberts, Elen Wynne Roberts and Sally Richards.

Simon, Elen and Sally have a background of working with clients across the UK, including on some of the most complex and high-profile cases.

Simon has acted for clients in multiple million-pound claims and is a specialist in serious and catastrophic injury cases.

Elen has a background ranging from road traffic accidents and multi-party actions to complex brain injury cases as well as clinical negligence claims, while Sally also specialises in catastrophic and serious injury claims.

The team, which is based at Gamlins Law’s head office in Rhyl, has also added to the team with the appointment of paralegal Joanne Kumwenda.

Simon Roberts said: “We are delighted with the successes we have achieved since we expanded the team just over a year ago.

“We are currently acting for more than a 100 clients on cases ranging from a few thousand pounds to in excess of £20m.

“Our case load is diverse including clinical negligence claims, road traffic accidents, public liability, and employer liability claims.

“It is highly satisfying to secure settlements for clients whose lives have often been devastated.

“Many of the cases we handle are complex and highly emotional and require a high level of trust and interaction between client and lawyer, sometimes over a number of years to secure the right settlement.

“We have some exciting plans to continue growing the team, enabling us to continue to meet the high demand from clients in North Wales and the wider UK.”

Gamlins Law employs almost 80 people, with further offices in Mold, Ruthin, Denbigh, Abergele and Holywell.
