WARM tributes have been paid to the “amazing” and “kind” son of a Member of the Senedd representing North Wales.
The office of Carolyn Thomas MS said she and husband Martin were "sad beyond words" at the death of their "wonderful" son, Ben in a series of tweets posted on her Twitter account yesterday (February 2).
Further tributes to Ben, also shared on Mrs Thomas’ Twitter page, said: "Ben was a highly intelligent, skilled and brilliant young man, full of life, determination and focus, most thoughtful and considerate of others.
“It was a pleasure and joy to have shared the experiences and times I had in his company."

“He loved climbing, training to be a mountain leader and met his girlfriend when becoming a Duke of Edinburgh Young Leader.
“He was a creative, brilliant trombone player."
A third read: "It was a privilege to have been his friend and to have had him as a friend to me.
“He truly was an amazing man. So wise, so kind. I thought so highly of him, as did so many others."
Mrs Thomas' office added: “We ask that the family are given all the time and space they need and that their privacy is respected.”
The 57-year-old Labour politician and former postal worker has represented North Wales in the Senedd since her election in May 2021.
