AN APPLICATION has been made to Denbighshire County Council to open a dog grooming salon in Rhyl.
This would be based at 164 Rhuddlan Road, which was formerly occupied by PHR Plumbing and Heating Renewables.
The applicant, Chloe Pearson, opened “Lottie’s Lodge” dog grooming and pet services in May 2017, which is currently based in the town on Pendyffryn Road.
“Lottie’s Lodge” offers a fully personalised dog grooming service, working on an appointment-only basis.
Chloe, a City & Guilds Level 3 qualified dog groomer with a degree in animal studies degree and multiple years’ veterinary nursing experience, plans to relocate and expand her business at Rhuddlan Road.

According to the application, it will be open from 9am – 5.30pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9am – 3pm on Saturdays.
The site in question is currently being vacated by PHR Plumbing and Heating Renewables.
The application was submitted on January 26, and a decision is due from the council by March 22.
