James Anderson, who set up Depher in 2017, said: “We ordered the food from Asda, and got the food delivered to the property.
“I think we’ve helped about 27 families in Rhyl since December, and about 400 in Wales altogether.
“We say to anybody facing hard times to email us. We have a due diligence check to go through, and then order whatever we feel they need from that.
“Sometimes, you hear back from the families; they send you a photo of the food, or a nice message. It shows the impact that you’re having on people and that you’re making a difference. It puts a smile on your face.
“We’ve just started an initiative today (February 1) where any member of the public can get a free packet of nappies, wipes and sanitary products.
“We’re doing the best we can to help as many people through this as we can.”
