A WOMAN from Rhyl has received a conditional discharge after she admitted assaulting a police constable.

Amy Ross, 32, of Abbey Street, was accused of assaulting PC Alexandra Wright in Rhyl by beating her on December 11, 2021.

She gave an indicated plea of guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 25.

Ross was handed a 12-month conditional discharge.

The court ordered her to pay £100 in compensation, and a £26 victim surcharge.

This totalled £126, to be paid in weekly, £6 instalments from February 10.

An application was made for deductions from her benefits.
