A MAN has received a suspended sentence after admitting assaulting a person in Prestatyn.
Barry Guy, 42, of Denbigh, was accused of assaulting Perry Davies on December 4, 2021, causing him actual bodily harm.
This was committed at a licenced premises in the town.
He changed his plea to guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 16.
Guy was sentenced to 26 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months.
The court prohibited him from entering all licenced premises in Denbighshire for one year.
He will complete 170 hours’ unpaid work, and pay £500 in compensation and £120 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This totalled £620, to be paid in monthly, £50 instalments from January 31.
